   We had such a fabulous day! Golf fun, hanging with friends, playing in the Rio Grande River, BBQ, movies and ending it all with Yummy Peach Cobbler!

   Atty and I have officially been Ombred! It was quite an adventure. Lots of experimenting and random coloring techniques that we made up but we did it! Its very different for both of us but we are starting to get used to it. Our husbands come home from work and just laugh at us because of all the random ideas we come up with to do during the day :). 

:G o A l S:

   So as a family we sat down and each made a list of 5 goals we wanted to accomplish this summer. And i'm posting them on here so that we really have to do them haha. I'm normally one that sets goals and a week later forgets about them, but these are reasonable that I can actually accomplish.

Helquist Family Summer Goals

• Jay

1. Make 250 Sales
2. Lose 20 lbs.- 3 Mt Dew’s per week
3. Office hits 1000 sales
4. Do more spontaneous nice things for Wifey
5. Be completely out of debt by July 15th

• Corrisa

    1. Workout 3 times per week

    2. Improve Golf Game

    3. Learn to Cook something New 2 times a week

    4. Read at least 2 books

    5. Thank Hubby everyday for working so hard to provide for our family

• Palin

1. Don’t piss in the house all summer
2. Learn to shake
3. Don’t fart near people
4. Try to stop snoring
5. Don’t get pregnant by that manwhore Dude

:Presley's Birthday Today:

    My oldest nephew Presley Peay is celebrating his 8th Birthday Today!! He called me last night and told me how he is going to spend his day with his family and going bowling with all his buddies. He really is such a good bowler, I have to bring my A game when I go bowling with him because he really is that good. He is also so excited about getting baptized on June 4th that he called me and asked what day i'm going to be coming back for it just to make sure he knew. I wouldn't miss it for the world! I cant wait. He is such an amazing kid and is so mature for his age its just amazes me. He is the Best big brother to his 3 little sisters and helps his mom and dad out so much. Its like he is just a little man. I seriously have grown up conversations with him and he just knows so much already. I was so happy when I asked him to be our ring barer for our wedding that he was so excited to do so. He did such a good job! I love him so much and miss him lots not being able to see him because of our move. But my sister Deanna is a big help with keeping me updated with whats going on during family parties by recording videos and taking pics. She recored him singing and dancing to Justin Bieber and sent it to me. He seriously is going to be a Heartbreaker!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUD!

   Also my other cute nephew Jaymz Peay had his birthday 2 days ago on May 19th! He just turned 3 and had a fun Huck Finn birthday party. They did a scavenger hunt and played games. Im sad I miss that too! I called him to wish him happy birthday and the only thing he told me about his birthday was that he got a Batman car and it crashed and crashed and crashed hahaha. Glad he at least enjoyed one of his toys he got! He is the cutest little guy ever and is just so smart and funny. He always says something to make me laugh! He has the best personality and always comes up to me and says "Corrisa, I miss you." I love him so much! Happy Late Birthday Little Jaymz :)

   Ok so I have one more birthday shout out! hahaha. I just havent blogged forever and I don't want to leave anyone out! So Happy Late Late Birthday to my Sweet Beautiful Niece Quincy Lee Peay! She turned 3 on April 25! She had the Cutest Lady Bug Party and once again I missed it :(. She got lots of Justin Bieber presents as well, so she was one happy girl. She told her mom that she is going to marry him haha. Quincy has the sweetest most sensitive heart. You just cant get upset with her when she does something wrong because she just melts your heart. This girl is going to be a little Sassy heartbreaker when she's older and all the boys are going to be after her! She is my little buddy and I miss her so :(! I Love You Quiny Quin!

:Life Is Great... Just Like Better Than Sex Cake:

   Yesterday I'd say was one of those days where you do absolutely nothing but yet you have lots of fun doing it haha. I laid in bed with the Hubby watching movies, making French Toast, playing with Palin and trying to teach her new tricks (we call her Big Dumb because she honestly is too dumb to learn any tricks at all besides sit haha), singing and dancing our hearts out to our new favorite song You Make My Dreams by Daryl Hall and John Oats. Its just so catchy and upbeat we cant help but dance around the house!!! Seriously, turn on that song and just try not to dance even a little bit... impossible!! I LOVE that the Hubby doesn't have to work till the afternoon because we get all morning together to just love and have fun. I look forward to every morning everyday because thats my selfish lovey hubby time :). I still get sad everyday when he leaves to his meeting and out to work, but really I don't get anything done when he's around haha. 

Spoiled

   Once he left I cleaned the house so I could take some pics of our little tiny apartment to show everyone. Take note that its not the cutest place and its very plain and bare, but we didn't get to choose the furniture and when we are only going to be here for 3 months its not worth packing and hauling out decorations and putting them up to just take them back down. I did bring a couple pictures and a clock but thats all. Anyways, this is our first home together and we actually enjoy how small it is and it feels just right to us.

This is Palin's spot. You will always find her here. When your sitting on the couch and your feet get cold just slip them under her belly and its an instant heater. Very convenient.

Smallest kitchen EVER! Makes it very hard to cook in when we are trying to entertain.

:In other news:

   A little over a week ago our dear friends Zack and Atty and their sweet little boy Easton moved down here to New Mexico so Zack can work selling Satellite with Jay. Its been soooo nice having another girl around and I just LOVE that I get to hangout and play with Atty and Easton all day! My days no longer are lonely and boring and drag on till Jay gets home late at night. I have Atty and little E to go lay by the pool with, shopping, make desserts, do gel toes, crafts, walks, girl talk, do each others hair, watch HGTV and all the other girly shows on TV our husbands make fun of us for watching haha. I'm so grateful to have her here and have her as a friend! We get along so well and have so much in common, its fun spending most my days with her. Little Easton or E as we call him, is the sweetest most happy baby there is! He is such a joy to have around and I cant get enough of his precious smile and contagious laugh! 

  Yesterday me and Atty had a lazy day around the house. Not much happened but we had a blast doing it. First we made Better Than Sex Cake which turned out Perfectly AMAZING! Sooooo good, seriously it is better....... ;)

   And then watched the Justin Bieber movie Never Say Never! I loved it. No making fun. But seriously that kid is Talented! The Hubby doesn't like him much and makes fun of me for singing his songs and watching that movie for the second day in a row haha. Oh well, life is more fun when you can act like a 12 year old girl now and again.        ....BiEbEr FeVeR.....

:M o V i N g:

   So packing up and moving to a new place itself is already a Huge Annoying project, but when it takes you a week of traveling, living out of hotels and the car, and not knowing when you will be moving into your apartment makes it 5 times worse. So what did we do while we waited???

  Golf. Golf. Golf. More Golf.

Lets just say Jay and Fabian were in Heaven. As for me....... Well I took pictures.

   So I finally caved on starting a Blog! I didn't want to at first but now I find it kinda fun. And since Jay and I just moved down to New Mexico and will be moving to Arizona after the summer, I figured this would be a great way to keep updated on our families and for them to see what we have been up to.

  We have been married for a month and a half now and it is just Fabulous! Its definitely been quite an adventure already, and it feels like we have been married for years because of all the changes and events that have been going on. Im just Loving it!
